The work to expand Grange Park Doctor's Surgery in Burley-In-Wharfedale is now complete and the new consulting rooms officially open this April.
Councillor Bob Felstead started work on this project in July 2022. He led a petition, which was only withdrawn after Bradford Council agreed to enter into dialogue with him and Dr Rayment, from Grange Park Surgery, about the needs within the community. With support from the NHS, ICB and BDMC, Dr Rayment and Bob finally secured £400,000 Community Infrastructure Levy funding towards an extension.
Bob said, “Following years of hard work with Dr Rayment it is fantastic to now know that it was certainly worth the time and effort invested.”
