"ON DAYS LIKE THIS IT IS A PLEASURE TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF BINGLEY RURAL."
Last Saturday (13th June), Cllr Paul Sullivan organised a clean up session of the beauty spot Goit Stock. Thanks to a number of helpers the area is now back to its best, well done to everyone who got involved.
Paul said:
"On days like this it is a pleasure to serve the people of Bingley Rural.
"THANK YOU to a few or our dozen or so 'doers' at Goit Stock for turning out from all over #BingleyRural and beyond.
"And thanks to the regular group of volunteers who clean up Goit Stock. Even though the woods 'looked' clean I followed several of our litter pickers.
I still managed to find almost a hundred small pieces of glass, tab ends, plastic etc.
"The van load we collected was over 6' high. I'm on my tip toes in the photo. Thanks to Damian our Main Man Bin Man."
Well done once again to Paul and his helpers. Please ensure to respect the countryside and put your litter in the nearest bin or take it home.
