Saturday December 30th, saw Burley in Wharfedale’s Christmas Light switch on. This is an annual event that’s well supported by the local community and organised by Burley Community Trust.
As usual, Tom and his team put a lot of effort into the lights and the switch on. Pubs, on street vendors, the community choir added to the festive atmosphere. Cllr Bob Felstead appeared as Santa for the 6th consecutive year at the event, and he will be appearing as Santa on December 21st at Salem Church between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
