Speeding is a major issue on Bingley Road. However, what is of more concern is the danger for both children and residents who live on or near Bingley Road when attempting to cross the road.
Local Conservatives James Gill and Peter Cochrane have brought forward this petition following discussion with Councillor Bob Felstead who supports the establishment of a Zebra crossing on Bingley Road. A Zebra crossing will make it safer for children and residents to cross and it is likely to reduce the average speed of traffic on the road.
