The Government have announced up to £20m in funding for the Shipley constituency as part of the Levelling Up Fund. Your local Conservatives are campaigning for Bingley to receive the investment it deserves and need your support.
Philip Davies MP, along with Conservative District Councillors David Heseltine and Geoff Winnard want Bingley to receive the full £20m investment, believing that the town is often ignored by Bradford Council.
Should Bingley be awarded the money, the trio think that it should be spent on improving the long-neglected swimming pool, regenerating the town centre and building health and wellbeing facilities across Bingley.
Only Bradford Council can submit a bid on how the funds would be spent before any money is awarded. The Labour Council in Bradford is dragging its feet in preparing a bid and seems reluctant for Bingley to be the focus of this investment.
Send the Labour-run Council a message that Bingley should not be overlooked and deserves this funding. Back our campaign for investment in Bingley!
